Triple Threat Design provides professional, stage-ready costume, prop, and set décor rentals for school, youth, and community theater productions nationwide. We specialize in large-cast musicals and help productions create a cohesive, polished look without the time, cost, and stress of building everything from scratch.

Our inventory is designed specifically for performance. Costumes, props, and stage décor are selected and created to work together visually, sized for both students and adult performers, and built to read clearly under stage lights. Renting allows productions to focus on storytelling and performance while staying on schedule and within budget.

What does Triple Threat Design specialize in?

We specialize in theatrical rentals for school and community theater: costumes, props, and select stage décor. We're built for musical theater, especially large-cast, ensemble-heavy shows with multiple costume changes and specific design needs.

Do you rent set pieces?

Our specialty is costumes, props, and stage décor, not the set pieces themselves. We provide the details that make a set feel finished, like the framed photo on a wall, not the wall itself. Many of the sets in our production photos come from our partner, Keith at Set the Stage. If you need scenery, we're happy to connect you so your sets, costumes, props, and décor can all be planned together.

Can we rent just some items, or does everything have to go together?

Costumes, props, and décor can be rented separately or as a full package. We offer full-show rentals, partial rentals (principal looks, ensemble costumes, coordinated props), and à la carte items. À la carte does require a minimum order, so smaller needs work best grouped into a focused package. Minimums are higher in peak season (especially spring) due to demand, and more flexible off-season.

Are your costumes sized for students and adults?

Yes. Our inventory covers sizing from middle school through adult, plus elementary sizing for many of our Jr. shows. If someone falls outside the standard range, we also can offer custom sizing.

Do you ship nationwide?

Yes. We ship costumes, props, and décor anywhere in the US, and most clients work with us entirely remotely.

How does the rental process work?

A signed contract and deposit holds your dates
You finalize selections and send measurements by the deadline
We pull, pack, and ship everything ready for stage
After your run, you return items using the instructions provided

How far in advance should we book?

As early as possible, especially for popular titles or large casts. January through April are our peak months, and availability gets tight during that window.

It also keeps costs predictable: no last-minute purchases, duplicate spending, rushed builds, or long-term storage to worry about. You spend your time on the production, not logistics.
